a concentrated, juicy wine. blackcurrant and ripe forest berries, vanilla and chocolate. a rich but smooth mouth feel, harmonious tannins, refreshing acid and a nice and long aftertaste. a slight sweetness to it.
keep to “not so spicy” dishes, and rather dishes with of fatty meat, for example pork breast, pheasant or duck. A slow braised osso bucco will work wonderfully too.
amarone style, the grapes are partially dried. aged for 12 months in oak. grown in formula 1 driver’s, jarno trulli’s own vineyard and vinified to become the wine he wants it to be. you can see he is a man of taste.
